Growing up I played softball and volleyball year round, so focusing on my health and fitness just came naturally. As I headed to college, I knew my nutrition and fitness was something that I needed to make a priority. I missed being a team player and staying active and I decided to try out group exercise classes. A few months in, they recruited me to become a Group Exercise Instructor and I absolutely LOVED it! I enjoyed being healthy and active, and helping others with that same goal. As college went on and I was working 3+ jobs, 40+ hours a week, along with classes, volunteering and a social life, and it was really challenging to make time to take care of me. |
