1. What did life look like before The Warehouse? What past experiences shaped your views on health, fitness, nutrition, and wellness?

At 12, I started training in Taekwondo. Taekwondo taught me the value of discipline and perseverance through both instructing and training. However, as my family’s commitments grew, it became challenging for me to balance my schedule. I left the sport two years ago, as a 4th degree black belt. Not having a physical outlet in my life definitely took a toll on my physical and mental health.

2. What has your experience been like since being part of The Warehouse? What have you learned? What has helped you grow or evolve?

I heard about Warehouse through Lori and finally gave it a try last fall. My first class was Halloween Oula. I came with a friend dressed up as a plug and outlet and danced (something I thought I would never do). It was so much fun! The Warehouse has been so awesome for me. It has filled such a void in my life and reminded me that sometime we forget to prioritize ourselves. It hasn’t just been about the workouts for me, the people that I am surround by in class are so great and the staff is amazing.

3. What has changed for you (attitude, energy, habits, priorities, race times, blood work, confidence, etc.)?

Having the flexibility to attend classes when I have time and not be on a set schedule has really worked for me. The Power of 50 has encouraged me to try mobility/heated yoga and I realized how much workouts like this are important for my body, and I really want that tank top! I feel the best that I have in years, my confidence is coming back and I am full of energy again.

4. What is your favorite Warehouse workout song?

JUMPIN or Back to Back

5. What is your favorite workout class?

Oula is still my favorite class. It’s kind of like exercise in disguise because it is so much fun and I always have a high calorie burn from the class.

6. What is your favorite quote?

“Age is a number, old is an attitude”
